The Parish is inviting applications for the position of Parish Ministry Co-ordinator.  This position will facilitate the pastoral activities of Holy Family Parish.

Parent Information & Enrolment Night Wednesday 26th March, 8pm in school hall.
Sunday 11th May, 2008 - Sacrament of Confirmation at 2pm in Holy Family Church.

Reconciliation:
Parent Information & Enrolment Night Wednesday 23rd July, 8pm in school hall.
Reconciliation 2nd & 3rd September, 2008.

First Communion:
Parent Information & Enrolment Night Wednesday 24th September, 8pm in school hall.
Communion Sunday 23rd November, 2008, at any of the Masses.

Baptism
Baptisms are conducted during the 10.15am Sunday Mass on 1st and 3rd Sunday of the month.

The next Parish Pastoral Council meeting will be on Wednesday 14th May, 2008,  at 7pm.

Parish Council is not made up of an elite group arbitrarily making decisions affecting parishioners.  It involves all interested in the spiritual, social and welfare of the community.  All are very welcome and encouraged to attend.

Holy Family choir sings during the 10.15am Sunday Eucharist and every alternate evening vigil Eucharist on Saturdays at 6pm.
If you would like to join a choir with a reputation that goes far beyond parish boundaries to towns in New South Wales and Victoria, then now is your chance.  No prior experience is necessary, just the willingness to learn and to raise your voice in praise of God.

Can we do without Catechists in schools?  Some young people in government schools are from homes where religious practice is very much part of living.  However, there are others unaware of the comfort and support that comes from knowing God in one's life and every person's responsibility to God. 
Two more Catechists are needed to join the small dedicated group already teaching in local schools.  The work is rewarding, help is available, young minds are receptive and school staff welcoming.  If you feel you could be part of this worthwhile work, the Catchists co-ordinator, Sue  Larkin will be glad to hear from you - 9416 3855.
